Sea Meadow Formula

It opens like the first step onto a cliff path in the morning wind: a flash of mandarin peel and clean, soapy brightness, then salt air and a cool green that smells of open water. Sharp blades of grass, cool cucumber, bitter wormwood and warm wild thyme blow through it — a meadow leaning in the sea wind. As it settles, a transparent jasmine opens the space, with damp lily of the valley and a green rose resting on top, and a faint caramel sweetness softens the sharpest edges. The dry-down is a seaside chypre: dry moss, hay, soft woods and a dark leathery shadow.
