Do I need to give my real name?

No. All we need is an email address and a nickname of your choice — no real name, no address, no phone number, no password. Your nickname is what we greet you with and what appears in your account. To protect our perfumers, each formula PDF carries your nickname and email address in small print, so a shared copy can be traced; we never show them to anyone else, including the friends you invite.

Do you sell perfumes, fragrance oils or samples?

No. We only sell fragrance formulas (recipes) as digital files. No perfume, fragrance oil, raw material or sample is ever shipped.

What exactly do I receive?

A PDF listing every ingredient in the formula and its proportion, together with the recommended concentration. Right after payment we email a secure download link to the address you enter at checkout. Each link works for 7 days and up to 3 downloads (longer for Gold Elite members and above).

Are the numbers grams or millilitres?

Neither. Proportions are written as parts per 100 (mass percentage). Decide how much fragrance oil you want to make and calculate the weight of each ingredient from it. Always weigh on a scale; never measure by volume or drops.

I am a beginner. Can I use the formulas?

Yes, if you already know how to weigh, dilute and macerate ingredients. The formulas do not include step-by-step lessons.

Are your formulas copies of famous perfumes?

No. Every formula is an original GrassAccord composition and is not affiliated with, or a copy of, any fragrance brand.

Can I sell perfumes made from a formula?

Yes. You may produce and sell your own fragrances made with a formula. You may not share, resell or publish the formula itself. See our Terms of Service.

Where can I buy the ingredients?

From any perfumery raw-material supplier in your country. Ingredient availability and quality vary by supplier, so results depend on the materials you use.

Who is responsible for product safety?

You are. Follow IFRA standards and the cosmetic and product-safety rules in your country, and handle raw materials safely.

What currency and payment methods do you accept?

Prices are listed and charged in US dollars. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never store your card details.

Can I get a refund?

Because a formula cannot be returned once seen, you can get a full refund until you download the file for the first time. After a download we refund only if the file cannot be opened or was bought twice by mistake. See our Refund Policy.

I have not received my file.

Check your spam folder first. The link usually arrives within minutes; if it is not there 24 hours after payment, open a request in the Concierge (members) or email perfumer@nospam.grassaccord.com with your confirmation number, and we will send a new link.

Do you take custom formula requests?

Not at the moment. You are welcome to email us suggestions for future formulas.
