Accord

Floral accord

A floral accord is the broad impression of flowers in bloom. It forms the heart of many blends and connects brighter and deeper notes.

How a Floral accord is built

A floral accord usually starts from a soft, transparent body built with materials such as linalool and lily-of-the-valley aldehydes and alcohols. Rose, jasmine or other flower characters are then layered on top. A little green or fruity material keeps it from feeling flat, and a light musk or wood gives it somewhere to rest.
