There is no hyacinth oil in this formula: the flower gives almost none, so its scent is built. Four small green-floral materials make the hyacinth — a leafy green one, a sweet and powerful floral one at a trace, and two softer floral ones with a touch of lily of the valley — together only about a fourteenth of the formula. Around them, a fruity jasmine, a dewy lily of the valley, lilac and a honeyed rose fill out the flower, so it reads as a clear spring hyacinth.
