Setting the heart

The largest line in this formula is a sheer, airy jasmine with very little body of its own; it fills the space the way morning light fills a pale room. The white lilac and lily of the valley are far smaller lines, yet they are what you name, because nothing heavy stands in front of them. A cool green stem below and a clean musk underneath frame the flowers without covering them, so a modest heart reads as the whole picture.

Transparency

Why the transparent jasmine is kept so large — it lifts and spreads the white flowers rather than adding a scent you notice on its own.
