    Citrus peels are among the quickest notes to fly, and here they make up about a fifth of the formula, led by mandarin with orange, bergamot and a sparkle of grapefruit, lemon and lime. Under them sits the largest material, an airy jasmine, with a powdery violet and a caramel-sweet fruit. These heavier heart notes carry on smelling of juice after the peels have gone, so the mandarin seems to last far longer than citrus alone would.

Description

A hammered copper tray in the early morning: ripe mandarins on their leafy twigs, still wet with dew, one peeled open, and a few sprigs of white jasmine beside it. The first breath is juicy mandarin and sweet orange with bergamot, and a bright sparkle of grapefruit, lemon and lime. Then a wide, airy jasmine opens around the fruit with a soft, powdery violet and a caramel-sweet juice like warm jam. It dries down to dry cedar, creamy sandalwood and a salty amber over a soft musk and a sweet, hay-like powder. A bright, juicy citrus for a fine fragrance.
