Cassis Pinewood Formula

Early light on a pine forest floor: dry needles warm underfoot, a bead of amber resin on the bark, and a branch of blackcurrant heavy with dark, glossy fruit. The first breath is the forest itself — sharp pine needles and resin with a cool flash of citrus peel — then the crushed blackcurrant leaf, green and tart, with the berry right behind it. In the heart the fruit ripens into dark cassis with a hint of red berry and peach, held in clear, airy jasmine and a fresh rose with a dewy green edge. It settles into a sweet, clean musk and quiet woody flowers — calm, natural and softly sweet on skin.
