Building diffusion

A green floral turns sharp when its green notes stand alone. Here the largest material is an airy jasmine with almost no weight of its own, and a watery, ozonic cyclamen and a breeze-like note spread the flowers outward, so the lily of the valley, the green gardenia and the bergamot reach the air together. The result is a floral that seems to move around the wearer rather than sit on the skin.

Building an accord

How a lily of the valley is built without any flower oil — a moist white muguet material, a fruity floral, a green petal and a few green stems join with a fresh rose and a soft violet into one clear flower.

Working with dilutions

How six very strong materials are weighed as dilute solutions in the airy jasmine — one herb oil kept low for its limit — so each can be dosed exactly and blends in smoothly.
